George was awake and reading the paper when I came over today! He went to dinner last night for his Birthday with Dennis, the boys, Tracy, Ed and their kids. Today I wanted to take him to lunch for his Birthday, by the time he was ready to go it was about 2:30. The place I took him to closed at 3:00. We ordered take out (The waitress there gave George some ice cream with an umbrella). Dennis bought a pie last night and today we (Dennis, myself, and Ryan) sang Happy Birthday to him and had some pie. I didn’t get his weight or BP today.February 19, 2010
(Friday) George wanted to go out today! While he was eating, I asked him if he wanted to go for a drive when he was done, he nodded his head yes. On our way to the mountains (That’s where he wanted to go) he said he wanted to get his haircut, we did that then went for a drive. He’s getting better! Yay!

Oh that's so nice! I got the text message in my car so I couldn't join you guys via camera. I have a long commute and stopped somewhere along the way so I didn't get on line till after 6 your time. By then my dad had left the living room and I couldn't see any movement for over 2 hours (I was watching him while Dennis was at the movies). Trevor came later and saw that he was in his bedroom asleep already! That's so odd. I've never known him to go to bed so early. Sorry for Dennis that I panicked and kept texting him in the movies. Didn't work out this time but next time, I'll call the kids or neighbors instead of bugging him.
