Today was a fun day. Sharon suggested we go to lunch at a place called Out Of The Box. George knew quite a few people there. They have workshops in the back rooms too called smARTSPACE studios. We will definitely go back there and see if we can get George into some sort of art class and to just have lunch with some of the other people he knows. We went to the Planetarium afterwards, but George fell asleep during the dinosaur show! We’ll have to go back so he can see it all. This is Sharon’s last day here and was nice to spend it with her and George.

Well…I was cleaning up today and spilled the whole pot of coffee all over me! We had a late start because of that. I had to wash my clothes before we could go anywhere. I went outside and got some fresh snow from last night and we made snowmen inside :) He made ‘kissing snowmen’ He said “Their having a good time kissing.” Sharon came home and we played bingo while waiting for my pants to dry. We went for a late lunch at Kowloon Café. There was a mannequin outside one of the shops next door to the restaurant and he said “She’s going to get cold.” (With a grin of course ;) ) His weight today was 103 lbs. and his BP was 100/62

Today was cleaning day. When I first came over he got distracted by some airplanes, he said “I’ll bet their having fun up there”. We did some cleaning then started the laundry then went to lunch at Taco Bell! He never wants to go to places like that. He really liked his taco though, even using a fork to get all of it. He put some whisky in his drink (That we brought home). He was worn out. We played dominoes while we waited for the rest of the laundry. He was confused as to when Sharon was coming in tonight. I think he gets it now ;)

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! When I first got to the house, George was outside looking at a couple airplanes saying one was going to Seattle. I had George change into a shirt that had green in it. He ended up putting green socks on too ;) We only went to lunch cause I came later than usual and he wasn’t ready either (He slept late today). We drove up to the Millcreek area, George wanted to go to Wasatch Pizza up there. They had a game at the table that we played while we were there. I had him get on the scale before I left and he was 102 lbs. (It was after lunch) and his BP was 120/60.

After a week being gone it took George awhile to get going. We ended up going to lunch at Burger King then to the store to cash his check. We met a man at the store that first started a country radio station over 30 years ago and it’s still on today! it’s KSOP. He also used to live in Seattle.
We went for a drive afterwards. He was having a hard time hearing today.

We went to Sunset Coffee today; we had coupons from the last time we went. I thought it would be fun to hang out there today and play games. It was a nice and sunny but cool day. We played one of the dice games in his new game case. When we got home we looked at his pictures in his electronic picture frame.
I won’t be coming next week and wrote a reminder on his white board.

Today was a nice day. (Dennis has asked that I come over on Tuesday’s and Friday’s instead). When I came over, he showed me his electronic picture frame and we looked at the pictures and he was telling me all about them. What a great idea! We will look at more on Friday. Pretty flowers too! I just drove where George said, we ended up at the Jasmine, and it was really busy! On the drive back he showed me where a friend of his lived and where they went to eat, he said he knew the owner. When we got home, I was checking to see if he had his wallet (I usually don’t) we had to go back and pick it up at the restaurant! We sat on the swing and talked when we got home. His weight was 104! BP was 116/62.

On Friday, we went to Wendover for George's Birthday. I brought breakfast over, we left soon after that. We had to stop at the credit union first, he didn't have enough money! On the drive, George was pretty talkative and telling me about all sorts of things like golf, an underground football field, the line on the mountain where the Great Salt Lake used to be, etc. When we reached the 'Christmas tree', he said that was his "pee stop" he mentioned that about 20 yrs. ago, he and about 2-3 other friends stopped there on their way to Wendover. When we got to Wendover, he started playing the slot machines. We had lunch then he played the same machine again. He thought he won a lot more than he actually did. He about broke even. He's lucky and can stay at a machine for a long time! It was a fun day once we got going.
