Wednesday the 7th
George had a podiatrist apt. today at 2:00. I heard him telling the podiatrist that he didn’t ski, he said something like all the boys ski but I don’t ;) Before we left we had a cup of coffee, watered the plants and talked for a bit. We had lunch at Tsunami in sugarhouse. His weight was 100 lbs. He’s back to the same again ;) and his BP was 162/82.

U HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2009Y
Don was in town! Before me and George went to lunch today, we did a little bit of his laundry. He wanted to go to the Jasmine today for lunch. We were talking throughout the day and it was funny, he kept saying things like, “You sure know a lot of my family.” Anyway after lunch we went home and finished laundry and cleaned up his room and hung up and put clothes away. I came back later that night to celebrate New Year’s Eve with everyone. George, Dennis and I played Ker Plunk. George kept saying “It’s getting late, you better go home.” He talked about an 8th grade picture he was showing me and saying even though he was the smallest, he was the toughest. He talked about that picture for a long time; Dennis took a video of it. It made Don laugh when George was telling me he got sent to the principles office. :) His weight today was 102 lbs. I think the scale is off, there is no way he lost 3 lbs. in one week! His BP was 140/67.
I have more pics on photobucket of today.

Today was a stay at home day. It was snowy and just bad weather today. When I got there he was just having his coffee, we drank coffee together and read the paper a little. I made lunch at home, he didn’t eat very much but snacked all day and had an ensure. We played the Ker Plunk game, it was fun :) we were going to watch the body worlds DVD but I couldn’t find it, we played ping pong instead. Before I left, I set him up for a shower.
There are a couple more pictures on photobucket of today.

MERRY CHRISTMAS! I came over this evening for a little bit to watch George open his Christmas presents! It was about 6:00 and they were still on the table. He really liked the dog that we get to paint together (Maybe tomorrow, it’s a storm tonight). He said “I’ve never gotten anything like this before” He really liked it. Thanks Sharon for getting fun things for us to do together. He really liked the throw/blanket too as you can see in the picture :) He went with Dennis and the boys to Tracy’s too!

It started to get really cold and windy today, I made lunch at home then George wanted to drive to Draper. We played ping pong when we got home, he sure is getting good! He received a lot of cookies and ‘treats’ from his neighbors. He has really nice neighbors :) When we took his weight today he gained 5 lbs just this month! I don’t know where it is, I had him get on the scale twice. I don’t remember his BP but it was within range.

On Wednesday the 17th me and George went for a drive in the draper area, he said he used to ‘go hunting just past Draper in American Fork’. He also showed me a place where he used to golf in Draper. It’s funny cause he wanted to just drive and find someplace to eat. We ended up at Jordon Commons at the iHOP we went to last time. (He seems to like shopping centers). We played pool when we got home and he did so well! He made really good shots and was really steady with his hands, also really proud of his good shots :) His weight was 104 lbs! and his BP was 140’s/63.
Today Friday is really snowy and windy. I’ll come next Wednesday and Friday.

Today was so cool! We made the ginger bread house and George is so proud of it! He spent so much time on it, a little over two hours. (He did all of it! and decided where everything should go, I did suggest a door knob and putting the pinwheels on but other than that, it's all him!). He is really into detail, and if you look at it you will see the symmetry and how the colors are in the same place's. When we first started, the roof kept falling down and I was trying to video tape it but the batteries ran out and I couldn’t take a picture of him building and decorating it because both our hands were full! He said “This isn’t so easy” (Like we thought it would be). After he was done he stood up and said “That does look nice!” He was so proud of it! The look on his face was priceless. We ended up putting it on the table and he said it was “The centerpiece” He really wanted to display it, and put it in a spot where people could see it when they first came in. He first asked me to put it on the ledge and was talking about putting 2x2's up to support it, (I suggested the table). Today was fun.
I have more pictures of the ginger bread house on photobucket. ;)

Today when I came over George was trying to find his keys. After he got ready to go and when we got done looking through the body’s exhibit book (I’m so glad that he went!) then he was ready to go. I asked him what his favorite part of the exhibit was and he said “Well of course the female body.” For lunch he wanted to just drive and find a place, we ended up going to Kowloon’s, we had been there before when they first opened. After lunch we went to the pet store. His weight today was about 103 lbs. and BP was 120/70.
There are more pictures on photobucket of the pet store.
