I was surprised to see George up again and dressed. He was sitting outside on the porch. I went in and got his sunglasses for him but he decided to come in. While he was back in the bathroom, he took a shower and got dressed again. I bought us some Jamba Juice and then we took a long drive to the downtown area. On the way, I noticed a Krishna Temple and thought it would be fun to go there. There was a sign that said they give daily tours. One of the Monks came out and talked to us. The temple is closed on Monday’s. We’ll try again. We finished our drive, stopped a couple places then went and had sushi. (The guy at the restaurant came and talked to George. His Dad or Uncle is Sage and he also knows Dennis. His son worked for him). George came home and got in the shower again.

It has been a cold few days. It has already snowed up in the mountains! George was up and already dressed and pretty much ready to go :) He had a lunch skype with Sharon and ate really well again today. Sharon showed him the weather out there and it looked pretty nice. He took a little bit of a nap and when he woke up I got him another Ensure. We did some exercises after that and he did really well. He wanted to keep doing more walking. We practiced sidestepping and he did good at that too.

It’s a really overcast and cool day today. It’s supposed to rain. I think it’s going to go straight to winter type weather without even having a fall :( I went over to the house a little later today thinking that George would still be in bed. When I got there, I was pleasantly surprised! He was up, dressed and walking around! He had been up since early in the morning without even a nap. I had him do his exercises and he did really well! We
even did a couple more than we usually do. We got his jacket on and went outside to check the mail and then came in and had lunch. He ate a lot. After lunch we took off the spring/summer flowers from the tree and put on the fall flowers and leaves. He did really well at putting them where he wanted them. I did some laundry and he helped me by putting his shirts and pants on hangers. I got him the lint roller and he cleaned up his blanket on his bed a bit. I gave him a massage and took him out on the couch to lay down to finish it; he fell asleep afterwards. I went and got a blanket for him so he could take a nice nap.

I had to go and get George up today. I guess he had a busy weekend. He got in the shower and dressed and had a shake for lunch, then we went to the Senior Center so he could exercise. He was a little distracted watching another guy but he did ride the bike, lift weights, and do his usual leg exercises. I think he wanted to do more but I told him he did enough for today. His blood pressure and weight were both good. I fixed him something to eat when we got back to the house. He had a couple bites and then took a nap. I was going to have him take off the spring/summer flowers on the tree and switch them out for the fall leaves but we'll do that another day. 

When I came over George was reading the paper and eating peaches. We went back to do a few things and then he did lots of exercises and looked at pictures.  He had a lunch skype with Sharon. He ate really well. We went for a little walk before he had to get in the shower and get ready to go to Ogden to visit family members for Peace’s viewing. Peace’s funeral is tomorrow and he will go up to Ogden again tomorrow.  I asked him what the paper was. (Dennis had the obituaries on the table). He pointed to Peace and motioned that she was his younger sister and he said “She’s sleeping now.”

George was awake and dressed this morning! He just had a few things to do. We did some exercises before he went back to his room.  I fixed him a shake and some other things and when he was done with lunch out on the patio, we went for a drive. We ended up taking the Brighton loop and Guardsman’s Pass into Park City. It was a pretty drive. 

George has a podiatry apt today. I came over to take him to that. He was napping on the chair in the living room. I let him wake up on his own and then took him back to get dressed. I told him where he was going today and made him a shake before we had to leave. I had to go in his room at the office and explain what was going on. “You didn't tell me.” Afterwards we went for a drive around the U of U area. When we got back to the house, I fixed him something to eat and let him watch golf and take a nap.

Shower day today!  George had been up earlier; he was taking a nap on the couch when I came over. I had him get in the shower and then we did his exercises and then had lunch outside on the patio. He ate all of his lunch and painted his birdhouse again then took a little break/nap. He was really tired today. We went to Michael’s afterwards to get some more paint brushes and to just look around. We saw a little bird house and it made him smile so we got that too. We went to Dairy Queen to get a shake and brought it home and sat outside by the pond.

George was in the hallway. I could tell he had been cleaning. When I got him to stand up, he didn't want to go down the hall. “There’s not enough room”. I moved some stuff so we could get back to his bathroom. After he was ready, he had a lunch skype with Sharon. I it started pouring while he was talking to her. Summer’s over :( We did his exercises and while we were over by the table I got out some painting supplies and a birdhouse. He painted part of the birdhouse and then took a nap. I had him go and lay down on the couch.

Today George was up and eating a late breakfast. We worked on his exercises and then we took Trax down to the City Creek Center. It’s really big! We had a smoothie walked around, had a chocolate at Godiva (He liked that) looked in some stores and enjoyed the

 pretty views. He was pointing where he wanted me to go. We stopped later and had something to eat at the food court. When we got back I told him I would be back in two days; on Friday. He asked me "What time will you be here?” I told him around 11:00 and he said, “You will have to come and wake me up”. He was doing a lot of talking today. 
(I had a picture of George by the water fall at City Creek but I don't know what happened to it :( )

Sharon left later this afternoon. We visited before she had to leave. George had lunch and then more lunch. ;) On the way out, he put on Dennis’ hat and was trying to work on the car. We went for a walk around the neighborhood; he was being really social, waving hi to everyone. He was pointing where he wanted to go. When we got back he got in the shower and then put his robe on and took a nap on his bed.

He has a funeral to go to tomorrow. His friend Yukio died. I’m glad he got to see him before he got sick.
