I let Ryan take over all day yesterday. I thought when I came in the house there would be things all over but I was pleasantly surprised. George was doing OK and everything looked good. George was in his pajamas watching T.V. We went back and got him dressed, then had lunch. He went to the Senior Center to a soap making class. It was a really good turn out. I took some pictures but I can't add them. My computer isn't working :/ I'll get them on when I can.

Dennis left on vacation yesterday. I'll be helping out the boys til Don gets here. George had a long skype visit with Sharon today. Thanks Sharon.

George was up and ready today. :) I made him some left over Thanksgiving dinner for lunch and some coffee. He had a lunch skype with Sharon; even some pumpkin pie for desert ;) We worked on his exercises and then looked at pictures. We might skype on Wednesday too. He has a soap making class at the Senior Center on Friday.

George has had a bit of a cold for the last few days. I wanted to keep him inside today. We had lunch, exercised and worked on some ornaments for the Christmas tree. I can’t remember what else we did though :/

Ryan made Thanksgiving dinner for everyone on Thursday. 

George took a shower first thing since he had just woken up. We did his exercises, had lunch then went to the Senior Center to exercise again. He hasn’t been on the bike there for a while. He did some free weights and the resistance bands too. I even had him sit on an exercise ball for balance. We watched some people doing a ballroom dance class afterwards for a few minutes. He was kind of quiet today. When we got back we made his bed and he cleaned up a little bit. 

George had a lunch sype with Sharon today. We did his exercises afterwards then took the fall leaves off of the tree. I went and got the ‘tumbling tower’ game. He did most of it and it didn’t fall. He wasn’t into much today, He’s tired. We looked at rocks, pictures, and I showed him the calendar and was telling him when Don and Sharon will be here in December. I made him some tea, covered him up and let him take a nap. 

We watched Sumo together after George got dressed. I made him some lunch at home and after a little while I was able to convince him to go out. We went to the Living Planet Aquarium. I was showing him some pictures online and of him at the aquarium. He couldn’t remember but nodded we could go there. It looks nice outside but it’s cold. He took a shower when we got home. He was really quiet today but after the shower, he said it ‘felt good’. 

I came over a little later today. We had lunch at home and I had the idea that afterwards, we would make snowmen inside. I explained it to him and he had a grin, but when I brought the snow in, he said he hadn’t ‘done that before.’ It was kind of hard to redirect him after that. I asked him if he wanted to go for a drive but we didn’t get a chance to do that today. We exercised and looked at pictures. He seemed to like that. He was telling me all about them. 

It’s snowed today! It’s hard to believe that it was such a nice day just two days ago! I helped get George ready for the day and then he had a lunch skype with Sharon. Afterwards, we did his exercises and practiced walking and then he helped me fold and put his clothes away. He’s a little quiet again today but was motioning to Sharon that it was snowing and that it was a bad day. It's supposed to be warmer next week.

George was dressed and taking a nap. I let him know I was here; he wasn’t quite up to waking up just yet.

We did his exercises on his way back to finish getting ready. We went to Pebble Brook golf course. I got a small bucket of balls, George hit about 4 and then he was done. He was showing me how to hold the club. I hit about as many too. We sat on the bench and watched some other golfers. Before we left we gave the rest of the balls to them. We got some lunch at Wendy’s and took it over to Sugarhouse Park. We watched joggers, people on roller blades with ski poles, getting ready for the ski season. There were even some guys doing a slack line. It was such a pretty day today! George was a little quiet but he was pointing out the people to me. When we got home, he got in the shower.

I liked that George was dressed and pretty much ready to go. It’s such a nice day today, I’m glad we got to spend it outdoors. Dennis hooked up the scooter to his truck so we could take that. We got to go all over cause he had the scooter today. There were lots of pretty fall colors, but the sun decided to go behind the clouds, and in places it was a little shady. We brought his coat just in case, but he was getting a little cold so we decided to go. They were also having an art and jewelry show inside. It was fun to see that too. He didn’t feel like getting in the shower today soo he just put his robe on. I fixed him something to eat before I left.

George was watching TV when I came over, he looked pretty comfortable. We went back and got him ready for the day. He had a lunch skype with Sharon and even exercised with her afterwards. He did a good job :) We went for a drive up to the mountains and then down to the park. He watched some girls play tennis and then we went for a walk. He did a good job; he saw a man and a dog. He stopped to pet the dog, it made him laugh. We watched the girls playing tennis for a little afterwards and then came back to the house. He had a good ‘exercise’ day.
