I fixed some breakfast and we sat outside by the pond, ate and had coffee. I thought we would have a nice day in the mountains today. It was so crazy busy! We were going to go up to Silver lake but the road was blocked. I'm not sure if it was from the fires, or a parade, but we had to go back down. We went to Shopko to pick up some things he needed. We picked up some lunch and ate at the park. We 'walked' around the park afterwards.
(I was resting in the chair later on at the house and George brought me a jacket, a big sheet and Dennis' sleeping bag. He had me tucked in really good. It was sweet.)
I came over Tuesday too. Since he wasn't fully dressed yet, I had him get in the shower first. He had a slow start today. We went out to eat cause it looked like he hadn't eaten what was left out for him. We went to the park and sat underneath a tree in the shade; there was a nice breeze. We watched some girls playing soccer and a guy playing tennis. We layed under the tree and looked at the sky. We haven't done that in a long time. He was doing his hand motion while he was laying down. It was a mellow day but I'm glad he did get out. I didn't get to spend a lot of time with George on Monday, but he was able to talk to Sharon and have a lunch skype. It worked out that they could do that.

I'm not sure this post will work or what date it's attached to! But anyway, I just wanted to comment on the photo. how creative! I can just see him lying on the grass with the great view of the sunlight through the trees. What a great way for me to "be there" with you guys! It's such a bonus to read your blogs when I'm so far away. Thank you, Jody! I just wish others could hear of the unique service you give to my dad and us.
