George had just gotten up when I came over; he was just wearing a jacket. I asked him to go get dressed “Why? I just woke up.” After he was dressed I was asking him where he would like to go today “Why do you ask me so many questions? I let him wander a bit; he went outside on the porch and then out to look at the new
plants and flowers. When he came in, he was telling me about a guy in the paper, he was the first
ethnic person to play on the NBA
and he was saying “To me, not that good, Tomio is better.” He talked about it for awhile; it was nice to hear him talking like that. I got up and he said “Oh, hey look, this is my girlfriend.” He talked about Elise and David for a bit too. I pulled my car out and came inside, he had gone inside and I guess got distracted and was making his bed. He wanted to go to the Olympic Park but I called first and they weren’t jumping today. We ended up going to a Chinese place for lunch to get some soup and afterwards we drove up to the Snowbird, Alta area. It was so beautiful! There are so many colors; the mountain was just covered in beautiful colors. He came home and talked to Sharon on skype.

Sorry your Dad kept falling asleep on skype :/ I'm glad he got to see you and Scout though and you got to see him too.

I really did have to go the last time we skyped. Blake came over and then Dennis wanted to talk. I know I told you I was leaving right then. I really was...trying :)
We will try skype maybe earlier in the day? I know Dennis was saying he was getting confused because of the weather. It's starting to get dark earlier now. All is good except for the pocketing :/ Some days are better than others.

Oh ya, I defrosted the last container today and gave your Dad some soup. I was going to have a tiny bit. When I went outside, he was already done! I gave him mine and he ate all that too! He had the whole container! I told you he loves it. I gave him some noodles and he had a few bites but then decided he was done ;)
Wow, thanks for all your comments! How nice. And how nice of you to think of making the soup for him. It's really easy. I'll send it to you by email.
And no problem about skyping. It's always tricky. I only want to talk with him if he's up for it. Don't worry about me. Anything is great! And I know he sometimes just needs to sleep.
We can try earlier on Friday but on Monday and Wed, I teach most of the day. But no worries. Even just a minute to say hi is good. I definitely don't want you to cut a fun time short just to be back in time to skype.

Thanks in advance for the receipe :) I'll print it out when I get to my mail. I gave him a little dessert when he was done with lunch. I showed him the vanilla ice cream but he said it didn't taste very good, so I put the ice cream in a bowl and added one of the orange jellos in with it. He really likes those two together. He asked me to try it and it is good! It tasts like a cream sicle. "I like it! it's good" :)
