When I came in today, George was asleep on the couch in his robe. I gave him a few minutes to wake up while I straightened up a bit and talked to him about the weekend. I gave him the option of taking a shower this morning or this afternoon (Since it didn’t get it done last week.) He got in the shower; I cleaned up while he was in the shower. When he was all ready to go, he talked to Sharon on skype and then he chose to go to Phong Phu Restaurant. The girl there gave us some flowers that she made to take with us. :) I put the folding chairs in the trunk to take with us and go to the mountains afterwards but when we left the restaurant, it was really windy and cloudy. It looked like there was a sand storm. We came home and George poked around his plants and sat on his new bench. “OK let’s go inside now.” He painted his last tulip and then took a nap on the couch.
(I have pictures but blogger said it couldn't add 'due to internal error.') I'll try later.

Hi Jody,
Oh dear... too bad the weather is so uncooperative this year. I thought it would be great for him to be out and about after being cooped up inside. Maybe if he's up for being out but the weather isn't good, he may like to be wheeled around at the mall? Just something different to look at?
Thanks so much for skyping yesterday. Sorry I wasn't inmy office when you texted. hope you didn't have to wait too long.
I'll be out of town on Sun through Wed next week, so I was wondering if we could do a short skype session this Wed and/or Fri sometime? I think it worked well to just say hi sometimes. I'd rather he'd go out if it's a good day.
Thanks for getting him moving and doing different things. I think that's good for his health, both emotional and physical!
Thanks for the suggestion. It's hard to think of what to do. I try to have a back up plan but I really didn't think I would need one on that day.
