George was asleep on the chair by the window when I came over today. It’s a nice day and the flowers look pretty. :) His Iris’s are out too. He was quiet when he was getting ready. When he was done getting ready, I asked him what he wanted to do today. He pointed towards the mountains. I told him that I had folding chairs in the trunk and asked him if he would like to go get something to eat and take it to the mountains. He said he would. We went to KFC and picked up some food and headed up towards Alta. We stopped at a couple places to find ‘the’ spot. He didn’t like the ones I chose. We ended up at Alta by the ski lodge. We pulled into a spot there, and the view was really pretty. It’s June and there is still lots of snow! It was windy and cold, glad I brought jackets. We watched a skier hike all the way to the top of the mountain. We saw a couple others ski down too. It got cold so we had a nice drive down the mountain. It was really pretty.George had dinner with Sharon and David on skype ;)

Wow, these are great pictures! I can't believe it's the middle of June. It must have made a big impression on him because he talked a lot on Skype! It was so nice. He hasn't talked like that in a long time. He was really tracking everything too.
After you left, he walked around from the kitchen to the front door and back. He looked at the calender and looked like he touched the Fridays. I think he's anxious to see you again.
I do think you should wake him up when you leave. He just takes cat naps and then he's wide awake like today. I think he really likes to see you.
Thank you so much for arranging dinner with us today. it was so much fun! And he tried to feed Scout the star cookies. I told him he didn't like pizza but liked cookies. We happened to have some too so we showed him and he laughed. It's fun to see him tracking everything so well. He also commented on the shiny beans we were eating. he wanted to know if they were coated in butter. He really wanted some so we promised to make them when we get out there. I couldn't believe how much he ate! A whole big pizza slice, even with his false teeth. His appetite is great :)
Well, if you have time to do even a short skype on Fri, that would be great. I'll be in a meeting from 1:30-2:30 your time but will bein my office right before and after. Then I'll head home.
We won't be reachable next Mon, Wed when you're there.

Can you believe the pictures! And to think it's June! The guy we were watching hiked up to the top where most of the snow is. We didn't get to see him ski down, but what a long way to go! Good for him.
That's cute to hear what he does. I'll wake him when I leave from now on. I don't want him to be anxious ;) He likes to see you and the cats too. I'm glad we are able to skype :)
I forgot to tell you to have fun on your trip! It will be nice to get away from it all.
