When I drove up, George was standing inside looking out the front door. It took a little bit to get him going. He didn’t want to go anywhere; he was waving his hands and showing me the cloudy weather. I got him to go get ready (After he went and made coffee) ;) it’s his way to do things ya know? ;) I’m glad he was doing that though. I showed him that the sun came out and after he put on his shoes he chose to go to lunch at Anna’s Café (He picked it pretty quickly but at least he did). At lunch one of the ladies that works there said that Tom and Fran come in. I guess they told him George was Tom’s brother. While we were eating he said “There are too many people here." We went to cash his check at the bank after wards. He took a break by the pharmacy and then again by the front door. He was walking really well. He checked the mail when he got home and

then took a nap on the couch.

Thanks for these posts and pictures! They're great :) I'm glad to hear he's out and about. Sorry it was rainy last Monday. Not nice. I just checked the camera and he's up sitting by the front window looking out. He doesn't have his pants on (which is common, I see!), but he's active already at 9:15am! Hopefully, David will come to help him finish dressing and putting in his teeth.
The pictures of the flowers are really nice. I like the color combo too!
On Friday, I could skype toward the earlier part of the afternoon if that works for you. I'm really looking forward to coming out next weekend.
Oh, that reminds me, would you like to redistribute your hours on Fri (may 20) onto other days and skip that day? Monday the 23 too if you'd like, but you can also come on Monday and we can do something all together. We don't leave till 7pm.
Oh and should I schedule a Dr. appt (regular and/or foot dr.) on the days I'm there? I noticed his toenails were getting a bit long.
Thanks, Jody!
