I came over earlier today. George has a blood draw for his Doctor appointment on Friday. He was dressed and sleeping on the couch when I got here, I let him sleep for a bit. Stephen from Care Source came over to see how he was doing and ask some questions. George woke up and we were both here, I think it may have confused him. When I told him we needed to go to the Doctors today to get his blood drawn, He got so mad! “Let them come here!” “Why the hell do I need to do that!”…I let him rest on the couch for a bit and calm down, it helped. After a few minutes, we went to his bathroom so he could get ready; I set up skype so George could talk to Sharon. He got to see her office and the campus. He had that proud smile he gets. He talked to Sharon for quite a bit, it was nice. It’s so funny (In a cute way) to listen to them talk.

George wasn’t sure where he wanted to go and eat today but he wanted to go out. I got out the cards and he chose the tofu place by Albertsons, he was watching the soccer game that they had on at the restaurant; I think he was more interested in that. He showed me what he wanted on the menu and then when he was about done eating, he said “I guess they don’t have shrimp” I told him he got what he ordered, and even asked him before we ordered. When we got in the car he said “That place should close down.” We went for a small drive after wards and came home so he could be home when the Massage Therapist came over. When we walked in, Trevor was here and said that she came about 20 minutes earlier :( She said she would schedule for another day.

(There are about 3 more pictures on photobucket of Sharon and George talking on skype and of his flowers in the back yard.)

Thanks Jody. It was fun talking on skype. He said so much I couldn't remember everything. I remember he talked about the rooms in his house (how many and where they're located), and he was doing the ski-jumping motion again whenever he looked at the mountains. I wish the jumping would start soon but I suppose it won't be till it gets much warmer.
Sorry we didn't get a chance to skype again today. Was he not in the mood to go out? Was he more tired than usual? Seems he needs his sleep but then when he wakes up he's much better.
Thanks for trying.

Ya I couldn't get him interested in anything, even his yard and the flowers. He was pretty tired. I think it's easier if once he's awake he can just go, but once he's settled in, it's hard to get him going. Anyway, maybe Monday he will be up for it.

Have a Happy Cat Day tomorrow ;)
