U HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010! U
Best wishes to you all!
Don is in town and David and Sharon got here tonight too! It’s so good to have everyone here. When I came over today, George was just getting up and Don was leaving to get bagels; he came home and made George eggs and sausage too. After he ate and was ready to go, Don and I took him to the podiatrist and then to cash George’s check at the credit union. I'm sure he's glad to have all his kids together :)

December 28, 2009

Today George has an appointment to get his blood drawn for his Dr. visit next week. He said he had just gotten up when I got there, he was making coffee. I made omelets for breakfast. When he was ready, we went to the Dr’s. On the way home he wanted to stop at Wheeler Farm. We saw some of the sheep that were out and we stopped to see the horses. We saw a few of the donkeys, George didn’t want to get out to pet them but they did get really close to the car. (I got out but couldn't talk him into getting out of the car). When we got home, he was walking up the driveway and noticed my angel I made in the snow. He said "That was three days ago!" He's right! I wanted to hook up the Wii so he could play golf. (I’ll have to have Dennis explain how to do it again). I fixed him some lunch before I left. His weight was 98 lbs. and his BP was 120/63

FYI- photobucket has changed their site a little. To see the pictures in order and with background, click on the first photo album (It's the first one on the left towards the top of the page, the one with the most pictures).

December 25, 2009 (MERRY CHRISTMAS)

Wil and I came over later in the day and watched George open his presents. He starts out not to excited about opening them, but once he does he gets a smile on his face :) He got some new clothes from Sharon and David, they also got him a Wii! Dennis set up his Wii and we helped him play golf. He did a really good job! This will be good for him to do when it’s cold out, or just at anytime.
There are more pictures on photobucket of Christmas.

We finally made it today to get George’s hair cut. He wanted to go somewhere different for lunch afterwards (He usually wants to go to the Chinese place right by the barber shop). We ended up going to the Jasmine this time. He was saying that there were a lot of new people there. When we came home he made his reindeer necklace that Sharon bought for him. It was so funny, after he made it, I tied it loosely around his neck, he said “What are you doing” I told him it was his necklace and when I put it around his neck he started to laugh. :) it was super cute.
There are a couple more pictures on photobucket.

December 21, 2009

George was up when I came over today! (Monday) We ended up going to Mt. Fugi for lunch. Our waitress that we always have when we go there gave George a little present :) it’s a small ceramic type cat. He said “Oh I don’t want it.” He told me to take it home. I think we will save it for Sharon :) I thought that was really sweet that she gave it to him! We went home and finished up some last minute ornaments and hung them on the tree. His leg was a little sore today.
His weight was 98 lbs. and his BP was 120/80
I have four more pictures of ornaments and the Christmas tree on photobucket.

December 18, 2009

I made George lunch at home today (Friday). Afterwards, he was looking through his Japanese painting book and through his crafts. I asked him if he wanted to make something. We ended up making a sprite can train. He was really into it; he spent quite a bit of time figuring out how things should go together. The can on top was the ‘foundation’. Since his gingerbread train was set up wrong, I think he wanted to make another one. He’s got quite the imagination!
I have one more picture of the ‘train’ on photobucket.

I think this weather is making George sleep in. Maybe because it’s colder? He had just gotten up. I’m sure he had been up for awhile, he had shaven already. After he combed his hair, he called Sharon and talked to her for a little bit. She will be back in a couple of weeks. He was pretty hungry so I made him some lunch at home and he made coffee. Afterwards we made his gingerbread train we bought at the store the other day. It turned out kind of crooked, (That was my fault, I put some of the sides of the train length wise instead of vertical) but of course it’s cute, he did a good job. When we were done, I put it on top of the TV along with his Santa house. He liked how it looked; he laughed though and said “We’ll have to explain what it is, no one will know”. He likes all the Christmas things in his living room. He said he really likes the 'red and white'.
I have more pictures on photobucket of the train.

George again had just gotten up when I got to his place on Monday. He was really distracted today. We went to get his hair cut, but the place he goes to is closed on Sunday’s and Monday’s, we went and had lunch at the Chinese place next to the barber shop instead. He said “She’s still here?” (Our waitress). We went to the store afterwards to pick up some things for him.
His weight was 98 lbs. and his BP was 130’s/83

George had just woken up again when I came over. When I asked him to go shave and comb is hair, he said under his breath “Oh I don’t care” then he said “Oh, you care” and then he went and did it. I thought that was cute :) I picked out some cards for him to choose from today, he chose Living Planet Aquarium. We had lunch at the Calypso Café at the Planetarium. It was fun. We went to the bank afterwards to transfer some of his money. Dennis met us at the bank; he bought a couple pairs of glasses too.
I have 8 more pictures on photobucket of the Planetarium.

Today when I came over, George said he had just woken up. When he got ready, I got out the cards so he could decide where he wanted to go. He chose Kowloon Café, but when we got there it had been changed to Mandarin Garden. It looked really nice inside, the manager Fay talked to us for a bit and even asked if I was George’s daughter! Can you believe that? When we got home we made his Santa house. It turned out really cute. I put it on the TV when he was done so that he could look at it when he is sitting on the couch. He said "Oh that looks pretty there" :)
I have more pictures on photobucket of the Santa house.

George was still asleep when I came over today (Monday). I told him I was there and I waited for about an hour for him to get up, change a couple times and get ready for the day. I was getting his pictures from Minnesota together to put in the photo album, and cleaned up while I waited. When he got up he made some coffee while I fixed him something to eat. He did his laundry and we put the rest of the pictures in the album and did some cleaning.
His weight was 100 lbs. He was happy about that :) His BP was 140/63

Today after George got ready, we went to cash his check at the credit union then he wanted to go to Sunset Coffee for lunch and coffee. He was saying how much he liked the houses just down from the coffee shop. We drove around that area (High Point) after lunch. He really liked the homes there and was asking how much they were. After driving around looking at houses, we went home and worked on his ornaments. Trevor is driving the car! (He got his license a couple days ago). He even got up and drove it to school today :)
There are 4 more pictures on photobucket. (If you notice the picture on the right, it is of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, They pop up out of the present. It made George laugh.)

Sharon and George went shopping on Monday after I left and bought some things to make Christmas ornaments. Thanks Sharon! We had lunch at home and then made ornaments to hang on the tree. They also bought a Christmas house/Santa house that we will probably make next week. We will finish up the ornaments on Friday.
There are 7 more pictures on photobucket of George making and hanging up ornaments.
