George wanted to go to Mt. Fugi for lunch today. (He was saying he couldn’t remember the name but that it was in Draper and it was American food). Hmmm…After lunch we came back to the house and Dennis was working on the pond, we looked at the pond for a bit, filled up his glass orbs and watered his plants and put clothes away.George has lost weight, his weight today was 96 lbs. BP was 140/63

Thanks for all the new pictures! How fun. The birdhouse looks so cute. I think he was proud of the picture frames he made for our wedding present too.
I'm a little worried about his weight. It seems to be going down over the past few months. Can you ask Dennis to monitor it more? I'll ask him too. I'm wondering what we can do to get him to eat more? I know he likes breakfast and will eat a lot in the morning.
Does he not want to go to the planetarium or do other fun things other than lunch? I was hoping with the wheelchair he would be more up for it. I think he has a hard time getting motivated but once he's up and doing something he seems to enjoy it. And I noticed he has a hard time deciding or thinking of something to do.
Thanks for spending time with him though. I think he enjoys that the most.

Thanks, it was relaxing. Not too long but nice. School started last Wednesday. I'm still sitting in on classes hoping to get it!
I really like the birdhouse, he did a great job! He was really proud of he picture frames he made for you guys and how he chose and designed them.
I got Dennis to get him some Ensure, it's a new coffee flavor and he really likes it. (Today one sip of coffee one sip of ensure...back and forth). Dennis has mentioned that he doesn't even make his coffee anymore. He does get him some coffee cake and things he can get himself. He was saying that he won't even cut his coffee cake anymore either. He really does need to eat when he gets up in the morning though. He used to. The Ensures will help him to gain weight (As long as someone will get them out for him to drink). If there was some fruit/finger foods cut up and set out for him when he gets up in the morning that would help too. Even to make his coffee in the morning.
I think him not eating before I come over like he used to (Sometimes)is what takes up a lot of our time. That and sometimes he's not even up yet. I'll try and get him to go out, but lately due to time restraints and just him getting ready and needing to eat, and other things that come up doesn't leave a lot of time for activities that take awhile. I hate that all we do is lunch lately. I've been thinking the same thing (About getting out and doing things more like we used to). I try and do what I can given the day ya know?
I'll be coming over on MW&F. I have morning classes on those days.
I want him to start going to the cemetery on a regular basis like he used to too. I'm thinking the first week of the month we will do our cleaning day/laundry etc. one day, the cemetery the next time. activities after that.

Thanks for everything you do for him. Sorry if I sounded like I was complaining about not going out. I know it's hard to get him going. I just wondered if things were changing and if he isn't wanting to go out. It's sad to hear that he's not doing the usual things like making coffee. Thanks for thinking of taking him to see Mamiyo and the cemetary. Has he been wanting to go to the cemetary?
Anyway, I know you're doing what you can with the limited amount of time. Thank you!

I'm not sure what to do about him eating earlier in the day. He really needs to get up at the same time everyday to keep some consistency. You asked if he has been wanting to go to the cememtry. He hasn't, that's why I want to take him. Hopefully this week. I know you wanted me to give him the Actonal. I can't find it. I'll look again really good. I even asked Dennis if he knew where it was. If you have any other questions or ideas let me know.
