Well in the paper today it said that we have the worst air in the U.S! After we looked at the paper about the inauguration, he said “She's (Michelle) a tough lady ” he then said “let’s take a joy ride up to the mountains.” It was nice and clear up there. Afterwards we had sushi at a place called Sushi Ya; he wasn’t too impressed by it. I made him some more lunch when we got home. I was cleaning up and noticed a plant on top of the garbage can on his plant table, I asked him what the plant was doing in the garbage and he said, with a smirk, “I was trying to hide my chicken.” (I guess from last night). You have to admit, it’s funny :)
His weight was 100 lbs. and BP was 120/82
One more pic of today of George reading the paper on photobucket.

Hi Jody,
He's pretty sneaky. I'm suprised he didn't give the chicken to Zimbabwe. Thank you for taking a picture of him reading the inauguration section of the newspaper! That's so great of you. Over 92 years, he's lived through so many huge changes that it's especially cool to see him witness this one. At one time, he said he wanted Oprah to be president.

In the evening, he got all worried about Trevor being lost. He even went to the neighbors and fell on his "butt". He thought he needed to find him and even called me to ask if I knew where he was and to come over and drive him around to look for him. Sometimes he makes up stories when he doesn't know what's going on and sometimes they're a little paranoid. But it's great to see him engaged and energetic, even if it is misdirected.
Thanks for helping him have a full day.
Sharon

Lol Oprah? That's funny. When I asked him if he watched it, he said he wathced it all day. Can you imagine what he has been through and seen? It's incredible. I showed him the page that had all the presidents and was asking him if he remembered them, I think he did.

Trevor must not have been over on that day. I know what you mean about making things up. At least he noticed he wasn't there huh?
He does tend to get too worried sometimes.

Today, he was asking where 'his' dog was, Ryan said "It's my dog!" He likes to call Bob his. He said "He's getting worried about it" (Ryan saying it was his).

I was thinking on taking him to Wendover for his birthday next month. I haven't told him yet, I want to surprise him. Do you think he would be ok with a surprise like that? Or do you know if he will have other plans on the Friday before? Let me know, have a good night.

Hi Jody,
Oh you're so sweet to think of Wendover for his birthday. This time, we would insist that you get paid! Maybe you could just come once that week and combine your hours? Of course, you should only go if the weather is really good (he won't want to go if it isn't sunny). So, maybe play it by ear? I hope to come back for a short visit in mid March so I don't think there's anything going on that week. I think he may have a dr. appt. early Feb? It should be on the calendar. Also, I was hoping whoever takes him to his dr. can bring the blood pressure thing and have them check it.
Thanks!
Sharon
p.s. Is he worried that the dog is not his? It's probably good Ryan is reminding him now and then. Also, I don't think he knows Ryan's name! Would you remind him when you can? Thanks.

Hi Sharon, I'll just play it by ear but I want to go sometime around his birthday (Hopefully). I'll still come twice that week (He'll get mad if I don't) well maybe not mad but you know. We can just say the hours for that week would be the same as the previous one? Make sence? Or something like that. We can figure that out later. I just wanted to do something fun. I think he'll be surprised.
No, he's not worried the dog's not his, it was just funny that Ryan said "It's mine!" Geroge thought it was funny that he said it that way.
He seems to only remember Trevor's name. He says "The oldest boy" when talking about Ryan. I did ask him what his name was but he couldn't remember. After I told him, he laughed and said "Oh ya!" when he says that (Oldest boy) I ask him what the name of the oldest boy is or I say is it Ryan or Blake? I try to make him tell me first though.
