Today before George got ready for the day, we sat down and talked for a bit about what was going on...I had him do routine things we always do, shave, comb his hair...I even had him make some coffee today, he just needed a little help. We had lunch while he was still deciding what was going on. After lunch he worked on his rock box for a little bit then we went for a drive up to the mountains. We stopped and sat on a log to watch the water, then he looked at lots of rocks. He found two that he liked. We finished the drive then came back to the house.

George was still in bed when I came over. He woke up pretty quickly and even started to get ready on his own. When he was ready, I asked him what he wanted to do today and he said "I don't know." I told him it was up to him, he thought about it for a minute then said "Exercise." I'm so glad he chose what he wanted to do and that he wanted to go and exercise! He rode the bike, did leg stretches, weights, and resistance bands. He did a really good job considering he hasn't been feeling well and he hasn't been to the Senior Center for so long. We came home and he talked to Sharon and David on skype. Tom and Fran came over to bring George some 'goodies' and talked to Sharon and David on skype too. After they left and while I was writing the blog, I was helping him empty some dead flowers in a bag. We heard the ice cream truck and he waved to him. I asked him if he wanted some ice cream he shook his head yes. He couldn't decide so I went and picked out some things for him. He said thank you to the ice cream man then sat on the porch and had ice cream :))

Today was a nice day. I was surprised to find George still in bed when I came over. After he was up, he showered and got ready for the day. After he was ready we went to the park and had a picnic. (He wasn't in a very good mood today, probably cause I wouldn't let him find his wallet before we left.) When we were at the park and sitting down he kept giving me that sideways look, you know the one ;) There were only a few people there today. We watched people walking, kids playing on the swing sets and we even saw a couple of dogs...I heard that he slept really good last night but he is still really tired. He didn't eat yesterday and just a little bit today. He did have almost 2 Ensure's though. When I left, I left him with some water and the rest of his Ensure and some pudding in the basket. Hopefully he will eat tonight so he will have some energy later on.

Today George was sitting on the couch in his robe. I'm so glad to see he was up :) I heard from Dennis a little later and he said he was up really late. We went back to get him dressed and ready for the day. He just wanted to pick stuff up and clean. He finally got dressed and had a cup of coffee and talked to Sharon on skype. Since he got dressed and it was a nice day AND he was up for going out, we went for a drive up to Snowbird and Alta. We watched the skiers for a a bit. We saw some people at Pebblebrook today too. It was a really nice day! He fell asleep on the way home but when we got back we looked at the flowers outside, but I think George was more interested in the weeds ;) He went inside and I got him something to eat. He took a little nap on the couch. We'll start again on Monday going out (Maybe a picnic at the park, or Tracy Aviary. Something outside.)

George was still in bed today when I came over. Dennis was home and said he might have gone to bed around 8:00 this morning. I cleaned, went in occasionally and checked in on him. When he got up, I fixed him some lunch and he finished his weaving project. He ended up wanting to do more later on Wednesday. I was sitting with him at the table and he was looking at the weaving 'stuff'. I asked him what he was thinking and he looked at me and pointed and said "White ones". So we put the white strings on. Today we tied it off (I'll have to ask Ryan how to do it, it's not working when I do it. This project is meant for kids!) He took a nap on the couch afterwards while I finished up the laundry.

George took a shower first thing when I came over, he was in his room and wasn't dressed yet, seemed like a good time to do it ;) He seems well rested.
I'm not sure how his weekend was, but we weren't able to get out of the house today. He is more alert today though. I fixed him some lunch and coffee and we sat outside for a little bit and looked at his neighbor's dog and at his flowers. He came inside to finish his lunch and he did a little bit of weaving while he was eating. He chose the purple color to start out with.

I went over a little early today so George could skype with Sharon today. We had a bit of a problem getting it started but once it was up, they visited and had lunch. He went to show her his doll that he's had in his room for awhile. (It's one of the dolls that his wife made) He got a kick out of showing it to Sharon. He is still a bit confused and tired today but a lot better than on Wednesday :) He took a nap after he was done with his skype visit with Sharon.
