Enjoying the simple things

Today was a nice day! When I got George up and ready, we did exercises had lunch out on the patio. He was cleaning out a planter and looking at the flowers, the sky and the birds. Amber, his Physical Therapist came over and had him go for a walk and do some more exercises. She will be back on Friday to see him again and then on Tuesday's and Thursday's after that. I made George something to eat and drink. He sat in his chair and took a nap. I think we wore him out for the day. 

We went to Gardner Village today. We went and had lunch first at their bakery/cafe and as we were leaving it started to rain. It was raining and windy and didn't look like it would let up, so instead of looking around we came back to the house. (I need an umbrella). George watched T.V. and had a snack.

Today was rainy and cloudy; thunder too! George had his lunch Skype with Sharon and then we did exercises today. He did such a good job and he didn't even need reminding. The sun came out so we took advantage of that and went for a walk, then sat out on the swing. I set his bike up but he didn't want to use it. He sat on his chair by the window and watched the neighbors.

George must be tired, he was still in bed. We had lunch at the house, it was kind of funny he kept putting his fork up like he was saying hi to someone outside. We turned today into a cleaning day. I did my cleaning and I gave George a bag to put the stuff on the floor in (Cherry blossom petals and just 'stuff'). He cleaned the whole floor and then had a snack and watched T.V. and took a nap. I put some pictures out on the table for him to look at. 
He added to the spring tree and I'll add the pic when I get it.

Today was crazy for me. I couldn't find anything! We drove past the new Living Planet Aquarium the other day, but do you think I could find it today? I even looked up directions! Oh well, it's not going anywhere. I was driving to a place to eat and I couldn't find that either! Crazy. George did some walking for his exercise today.

Sharon had a meeting today, George had a skype lunch while Sharon was at work at the college. He got to see her school and visit for a bit. 

Today after getting ready, we went to the Tulip festival at Thanksgiving Point. It was really pretty and a long walk to see all the pretty tulips. I took lots of pictures, it was different than I thought it would be but it was a nice day; except for the cold wind :/. We had lunch afterwards at the Trellis Cafe. When we got back to the house George got undressed and got into bed. I guess I wore him out. :) So much for exercises today. He was giving me the OK sign on some of the tulips today. There was a lot to see. I'm glad we made it there today.
I didn't know what pictures to add to photobucket so there are about 30!

The plan was to go to the Tulip Festival with George but the weather was cold. It will be a lot of time spent outside and Wednesday is supposed to be a nice day. After his shower and getting ready we went to lunch at Paradise Bakery. We picked up some summer flowers and styrophome cones at Dollar Tree. We came back and put the flowers on the cones for a cute decoration.

George had his lunch skype with Sharon today and then we worked on his exercises. I don't remember what else we did on this day.

George exercised a lot today! He did his usual exercises at the house and then we went to the Senior Center and he rode a bike for about a half hour! We were going to go to the Tulip Festival today but it's kinda cool and windy and George has a little bit of  a runny nose. I marked it on the calender to do on Monday. He came home, had a snack and read the paper.
