HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEORGE IN 3 DAYS!

George took awhile to get ready today, it was a slow day and he said he wasn't feeing too good. When he was getting ready, he asked if he could use the mousse for shaving, he said he used it on his hair too (We found some shave gel). He talked about going for a walk up the street a few days ago and said he fell, he said it was embarrassing. He couldn't decide where he wanted to eat; he said “Let’s just drive downtown”. I mentioned Shanghi, he liked it. I told him about Wendover today, I said if it was good weather, I would be over early and we would go for his Birthday. 3 more days until his Birthday! :)
His weight was 101 lbs. and his BP was 102/62.

Friday the 13th! We didn’t have any bad luck. Well there were a few road closures, but nothen big. George said he wanted to go to Herriman(?) today. We made it down to the copper mine (Cause there was a detour). We did a big circle back home; on the way back we went to Village Inn. I remember being there before with him, only after he reminded me! Before we left I showed him one of the games we bought. When I left Wednesday, I asked him to practice on his walker. When I asked him if he practiced, he said “Oh I haven’t had any time.” He knows how to do it inside; I think he was distracted at the store the other day. (I took a picture today but it wasn’t any good).

Well today George was up and waiting for me. I came around 12:20, usually I come around noon but since he has been getting up earlier, I think he thought I was late. He said “I thought you were coming this morning”. We went to the credit union to cash a check; he saw his neighbor from across the street and talked to him for a bit. Then we went to lunch. When I asked him where he wanted to go he said “There’s a really nice place on the corner”, it was Sunset Coffee, he likes the view of the valley. Afterwards, we went to Target to buy some games. He used his walker but needs to practice using it more; I brought it in the house for him to practice.
His weight was 100 lbs. and BP was 138/good. Lol can’t remember.

Today was cleaning day. When I came over, George said he got up around 8ish and that Ryan made him breakfast. :) We did some laundry, played ping pong while we waited for it, (I took his blood pressure just to see what it was after exercise, it was 140/62 -good!) he hung up clothes, helped with pillow cases and folding, vacuumed and changed the garbage bag in the kitchen. We played bingo while we were waiting for another load . At lunch he said he had a dream last night of a typhoon in the pacific.

It was a nice day today. When I came over George was up watching cartoons! He said he had been up since 8:30! Wow. I asked him if he wanted to get his hair cut today (He didn’t want to last time I asked) he wanted to today. We went to lunch first at Bajio’s. I think that’s the first time he has picked a Mexican restaurant. He said the food was ok, but he sure ate a lot. (He said the building was expensive). When I first pulled up to the barbor shop he said "I'm getting my haricut?" I told him he was, he said "Oh good". We had to wait for awhile , there was actually a few people waiting. He watered the plants when we got home. His weight was…yep 100 lbs. and BP was 102/62.
