When George was ready to go we had a quick lunch at the house and then drove up to

Deer Valley to use the bounce back summer lift tickets that Sharon left for us. It was a really nice day! We stayed up at the top for a while, walked around looked in a shop and got a frozen yogurt and just enjoyed the view. (The restaurant up there had closed an hour earlier). We even got to hear music on the way down. (It’s the last night of the summer music concerts.) We drove down to Redrock (I think that’s what it’s called) and went to Bout Time Pub and Grill and had some dinner and a beer. It was a really long day today and I think I wore George out!

George had a shower and a little lunch at home and then we took a ride on trax again today. We went all the way to the end of the line (Without transferring) and ended up in the downtown area. We walked around the station for a bit then took the trax train back to my car. It was good scenery, fun and different. We stopped at Mt. Fugi on the way home. We haven’t been able to go there since they closed for lunch. We went to happy hour. When we were about to leave, the girl that used to be our waitress when we would go there for lunch came and said hi! It was good to see her again. She said she would think about us and how we were doing. I don’t think George remembered her but it was nice of her to stop and say hi. 

George got up and dressed and then had a lunch skype with Sharon. He was really tired today but when we were done with skype we did a few exercises. He didn't quite do all of them. He headed to his room and got on his bed. He rarely does that so I covered him up and let him sleep. I cleaned…everything. He was still sleeping so I left to let him sleep.

Today is Ryan's Birthday! There was a dinner that night with family and friends. I think George liked having everyone around. It's nice to have a full house. Blake's friend Clint was really cute with George.

We couldn't go anywhere today. I blew out my tire on the way home from WA and had been driving on a spare for a long time. We just hung out at home, did some exercises and had lunch and visited.

I was in Olympia WA today.

George was still in bed with his robe on today. It’s a hot day and it was hot in his room. He got up and I helped to get him ready. He had lunch with Sharon on skype. He gave her a kiss when he saw her, cute ;) He ate really well and Sharon was showing him outside and the cat. David was home too and got to say hi to him. When they were done with lunch, I got out the scooter and we went for a walk. It was a hot day but the clouds were out, for a little bit. It got to be hot without the clouds but there was a breeze that helped. We met 3 girls on their bikes and scooters. They asked if we were out for a walk and asked where George lived, it was cute. When I asked them if they wanted to get by (So they could go faster) one of the little girls said “No it’s OK  we want to talk”. such a ‘girl’ thing to say. Lol and then went on talking about if they had seen a certain Sponge Bob cartoon.

He went around the block a couple times. He was getting distracted cause he wouldn't stay on the sidewalk. When he got home he started to pick things off the floor and then took a nap.

We went to lunch at Sharon’s Café today. We haven’t been there in a long time. Sharon remembered him from the last time we were there. They have lots of cool stuff to look at inside. Afterwards he had his haircut and washed by Yao today and then we stopped and got some shaved ice. It’s a hot day today. He came home and watched TV. And took a nap.

Today is shower day. George was up and almost dressed when I got to the house. After his shower and when he was ready, I fixed him a quick lunch at home and then we went and took trax all the way downtown and back. We had to get off at the end and take another one back. I thought it would just go all the way around. We saw some good scenery and he stayed awake the whole time. He looked at me when we got off at the end like ‘why are we getting off now’. I think he would have liked to keep going. I don’t know about him but it wore me out and I wasn't even driving! It was fun and we will do it again. We got a lot of tokens back instead of change. Next time maybe we will get off at one of the stations. We stopped on the way back and got him a smoothie.

George had a lunch skype with Sharon and then we went to the Sugarhouse Farmer’s Market. It was kind of last minute. As we were driving I saw the sign for the farmer's market, I've always wanted to take him to that but it’s always going on around the time I leave. It was nice but windy for everyone. We walked around by the play area and watched the kids playing and watched the ducks and then we went around the farmers market one more time. When we got back, he had a snack and watched T.V.

Itso, and Mamiyo came to visit today! They got to see Sharon and talk to her on skype. They had lunch with George and visited and read the paper with him. It was nice to see

 them again. Sharon mentioned she will be back in September and they will try and get together with her when she comes out. George took a small nap after they left and then we watched part of his Judo video.

George has an optometrist appointment today. He got  up, showered, dressed  and then we went to a sushi place (I forgot the name) I had to really rush him so that we could get to the appointment. He had a bunch of eyelashes that needed to be pulled out of his left eye. Ouch. He took a nap in the chair while his eyes were being dilated; it was nice and dark. When we got back, I gave him the rest of his sushi and his tea along with some other food too.

George was still in bed when I came over today. He may have been up earlier, I don’t know. He shaved, changed, got dressed and then we went out to lunch. We took a long drive and stopped at Dairy Queen on the way back and got him a strawberry shake.

Today is my first day back with George. Sharon is back in Minnesota and they had a good visit while she was here. I came over a little later because I had an appointment. We had lunch outside and then painted his birdhouse and I think we can call it done ;) It will look good on the tree with the others. :) We went for a walk/ride around the neighborhood afterwards. It was really hot and I got him an ice cream when we got back.

It was a cool and overcast day today, nice break from how hot it has been. George was up and dressed when I got to the house. I wasn't sure the last time he had a shower, so I got him in the shower. After he was dressed, I had him do some exercises and then we sat outside and had a little bit to eat. I had him come in before I had to go. I let him know that Sharon was going to be back later in the evening.

Today we worked on George’s exercises and then we stopped and picked up some lunch and took it up to Brighton at Silver Lake. It wasn't very shady and there were lots of kids up there today. We found a place in the shade where we could see the lake and had a nice lunch and then we walked around the lake. When we came back he sat on the porch for a bit then came inside. I turned on the T.V. and gave him the rest of his lunch and a snack. It got up to 104 degrees today!

Sharon had to go to Chicago for business; she will be back Thursday evening. Today George was dressed and just about ready to go. We drove up to Snowbird and had lunch; afterwards we just walked around and enjoyed the day. There were a lot of people up there today so there was a lot for us to look at. We stopped by to see Pamela but she wasn't there today. I’ll be back tomorrow and for a bit on Thursday.
