George was still in bed. He’s still sore and weak today. I had him get in the shower and then we did some exercises. We had some lunch outside, it was a nice day. He took a while doing things today. But he was able to get things done. He took a nap and then talked to Sharon on skype.

Sharon will be here on Monday.

George had a fall on Monday and was still sore today. He was tired and me and Dennis thought it would be a good idea to take him just to have him checked out. We went to Alta View and he had X-ray’s and everything is fine. 

We went to Sushi Express for lunch today. George seems a little weak. It was nice weather; a little overcast but nice. It’s supposed to get really nice the rest of this week. We had to come back to the house after lunch. He took a nap while getting a massage in his chair.

(I just found out yesterday that Dennis and Trevor will probably be going on another ski comp in a week or two.)

George had a lunch skype with Sharon. They visited and he got to see David and Quincy too :) then he did some exercises. He did a lot of them. He got hungry so we had sweet rolls together while we looked at the paper. We checked out the weather; it’s getting really cloudy. I watered the plants and he helped me clean up around the plants and then he napped. (He’s been sleeping and eating good). 

:) George had his shoes on, hair combed and glasses in his pocket but he was still in his pajamas. We went back and he got dressed. When he was dressed and ready to go we went to Fashion Place mall and had lunch and looked around. It was really windy but a nice day. 

George has an appointment with Dr. Oaks, his podiatrist. I had him get in the shower first and then get ready to go. After the podiatrist we went to Wendy’s and then to Sugarhouse park to have a picnic. It felt a lot warmer than it really was. It was still nice; good thing we had coffee. :) George had some chili but the weather was still kind of cold with the wind. We were sitting in the sun though but after a few minutes we had to leave; it was too cold. I think this is the earliest we have had a picnic though. (I took a picture but I don’t know what happened to it :/ it’s just of George sitting at the picnic table. We have lots of those anyway)

(Dennis and Trevor are going on another ski comp. They are leaving on Wednesday and will be gone until Saturday or Sunday. I’ll be at the house to help out.)

When George got dressed and ready, he had a lunch skype with Sharon. They ate, did some exercises and just visited. We went for a walk around the neighborhood afterwards. He was a little weak today. When we got back I had him help me put the Valentine stuff away that was on the tree, and then he helped fold some towels then took a well-deserved nap.

Mamiyo 88 George 96

Last night George and Mamiyo had their Birthday dinner at Golden Dragon. Dan, Patty, Tom, Fran, Dennis, Ryan and his friend Phillip were there to celebrate with them. It was a nice dinner. Fran brought a Birthday cake for desert.

Today (Wednesday) George was all dressed when I came over. We shaved and did the usual things then we had left over’s from his Birthday dinner from last night. We drove up to Big Cottonwood canyon and saw the skiers and some hikers. It was a nice day. We stopped at Silver Fork Lodge and had a beer and some pot stickers. When we got home he got in the shower.
