Today when I pulled up the curtains were shut. I thought George would still be in bed. He was asleep in the chair, but he was dressed. I had him go back and get in the shower (He needed to change anyway). When he was dressed, we had lunch outside on the patio, it's was a hot day. We went for a drive and then went to the Senior Center to exercise. He did a good job and was kind of tired afterwards. He was pointing the way to get home. When we got back, he sat outside on the chair. (I hope Sharon and David had a nice little trip to Vernal :) )

George had a podiatrist appointment today. I came over and got him in the shower, left for a bit and when I came back, David fixed him some lunch so he could eat before we left and he was all dressed and ready to go. After his appointment we went for a drive then went to the pet store and saw a really pretty bird and one of the 'store' cats named Maxine. She was about as big as Scout. He pointed it out to me right away. We sat and rested at the consignment store (Next door) then went for a drive up to the mountains. He was pointing today and on the way home, we saw David, he pointed and said "Is that him?" He looked outside at the big flowers and the pears. He wanted to eat one. ;)

George woke up later than usual today. After he was dressed, we had lunch out on the patio. I could not keep him awake! He’s really tired again today. I’m just going to let him rest. 

The weather this morning is so weird. Totally different than yesterday. Really overcast with a little bit of rain. George sat outside on the porch and watched his neighbors. I made him something to eat but he didn't eat much. By around mid day it was really hot again but we went up to Red Butte Gardens. It was so pretty up there but I forgot my camera to take pictures :( George had a really hard time staying awake again today. I'm thinking the weather? 
(He bought something for Sharon and David today that he picked out himself :) ) He also bought a little fish for himself. I picked out a few little glass animals for him to choose from. A fish, turtle, rabbit, butterfly, bird, ladybug...

I'm coming over extra this week because Sharon, David and Scout will be here soon and get to spend time with George and take him to fun places. :) 

I stayed at the house last night and fixed George some oatmeal before I had to go. He was up and dressed. I got the calendar out and told him about Sharon David and Scout coming to visit him. When I came back, he had some things out so I helped to get him cleaned up and we had lunch outside by the pond. It was SO hot... we came back in. He had a hard time staying awake. I don't blame him, I had to stick my head in the freezer ;) When he woke up I tried to get him to go out, at least for a drive. He was SO tired. Sleeping standing up, putting his hand up, saying "no", waving me off...you know. I could not get him out today. I would have had to physically lift him up. I don't think I could ;) It's just too hot to be out anyway. Hopefully tomorrow is better. I know we are supposed to hit triple digits soon. :(

I spent Saturday afternoon through Sunday at the house. Saturday we just hung out together and Sunday we had breakfast out by the pond. George napped while I did some work. Tom and Fran came over to visit too.When I came over today, George was taking a nap on the couch; I told him I was here and had him get up after a few minutes. I've always thought of taking him to the Bohemian grill and brewery. I always forget it's there. We ended up going there for lunch and eating outside. We even shared a beer with lunch :) Afterwards, we drove up to Silver Lake and took a walk around the perimeter of the walk way; we took the short cut today. It's so hot today, It was so much nicer in the mountains! We saw some ducks, chipmunks and other people out walking around. There were even some people out in a fishing boat. When we got back to the house, George took a shower. (FYI part of that canyon will be closed due to construction on July 16th. Not sure until when.)(I'll add pictures when I have my converter. It was pretty up there.)

George was asleep when I came over. I couldn't tell if he had been up earlier or not. He woke up after a few minutes and got ready. I had him sit in a chair and gave him a good shave today. We went to the credit union to cash his check, then went out for sushi. After sushi we went to Shopko to return some things for different sizes. It turned out to be an errand day again today. It was a hot day. When we got home, he sat in the shade.

I fixed some breakfast and we sat outside by the pond, ate and had coffee. I thought we would have a nice day in the mountains today. It was so crazy busy! We were going to go up to Silver lake but the road was blocked. I'm not sure if it was from the fires, or a parade, but we had to go back down. We went to Shopko to pick up some things he needed. We picked up some lunch and ate at the park. We 'walked' around the park afterwards.

(I was resting in the chair later on at the house and George brought me a jacket, a big sheet and Dennis' sleeping bag. He had me tucked in really good. It was sweet.)

I came over Tuesday too. Since he wasn't fully dressed yet, I had him get in the shower first. He had a slow start today. We went out to eat cause it looked like he hadn't eaten what was left out for him. We went to the park and sat underneath a tree in the shade; there was a nice breeze. We watched some girls playing soccer and a guy playing tennis. We layed under the tree and looked at the sky. We haven't done that in a long time. He was doing his hand motion while he was laying down. It was a mellow day but I'm glad he did get out. I didn't get to spend a lot of time with George on Monday, but he was able to talk to Sharon and have a lunch skype. It worked out that they could do that.
