We drove out to see Mamiyo today. George was getting in the car and trying to drive over the weekend, I guess he was saying he wanted to drive to Ogden.








At one point Trevor took the keys from him and later on George found them and hid them from him! He was teasing him about it. Kind of funny ;) I think all the guys were taking the keys away from him. Of course he got mad, but was OK later like nothing happened. He had a good visit today. :) yeah.

Today, Wil is moving and I told him I would help him move. We only had time to get ready for the day and then go to lunch. While he was getting ready, I tried to sign on to Skype; it wouldn’t let me :( we went to lunch at Tokyo Sushi. George noticed it when we went to lunch the other day, not very friendly staff but the food was good. Afterwards, I took him down to show him where Wil was moving to. I don’t think he understood who I was talking about, or who was moving. When we came home he talked to Sharon on the phone.

George was tired today. He wanted to take a break from putting his shoes on! When he was ready to go, I asked him what he wanted to do and he said he has always wanted to go up to the mountains to see "Where that is." He was talking about the mountain he can see from the living room. He knew we couldn't drive all the way up but wanted to see it closer. We ended up as close as we could get to the mountain. We also ended up on a really pretty drive. We stopped for lunch on the way down at Chef Wong (I think that was the name of it) for lunch. We had never been there before and he said "I like this, it's good" :) We came home took his BP and he took a nap. His BP was 119/59

Monday 17, 2010

Ryan was working on a family tree last week. Dennis mentioned that it might be a good activity for George to do too. We went through lots of pictures to find his brothers and sisters. He told me a lot about all the pictures we looked at. He was tired today. I saw the picture of the house that he said he grew up in. When we were at Wheeler Farm one of the first times we went there, he mentioned that the house there looked like the one he grew up in. We took a break and went for a drive to Wheeler Farm and that house really is similar! After our drive, we went home and talked to Sharon on Skype.
Weight was 92 lbs. I’ll get BP on Wednesday.

Today I couldn't get out of the house to leave! There was news about poor little Ethan Stacy and I had to watch it before I came over. So, since I was over a little later than usual, I made some lunch at home. We put together the aquariumtoday,itturnedoutreallycute :)

George was all ready to go again today when I came over. All he needed to do was put his shoes on. He mentioned he wanted to try a new place to eat that we saw when we went to Simply Thia on Monday. It's called Fugi. It's a steakhouse and sushi place. They have pictures all over of people that have been there. I showed him a picture that was by us and asked him who it looked like, he pointed to the picture and then to me. I kept looking to see if I saw a family member with her ;) it could have been my younger adopted sister! ;) It’s funny that he thought it looked like me too. It was a cool place, he seemed to like it (Said he didn't) but of course he ate it all. We went to Sugarhouse Park after wards and watched the dog walkers and someone trying to fly a kite. It was supposed to be cloudy and rainy today. It was kind of cool at the park though. We came home and he got in the shower, and then watched Dennis plant some plants outside.

I heard noises in the shed when I was looking for George; he was looking for tools for the weeds. He was all ready to go except for his shoes. He wanted to go out and eat; he wasn’t sure where so I got out the cards and he chose Simply Thai. It was starting to rain when we left, we went for a drive, and then came home. We were going make the aquarium that Sharon bought. I showed it to him and he said smiling “I’ll be dog gone.” He was trying to find his whisky. I guess he was all out; we ended up going to the liquor store instead. When we left, there was a lady that said “OHH his is soo cute” a couple times then asked how old he was. I told her and she said “UN-believable!” “Unbelievable”.
His weight was 91 lbs. and his BP was 115/63

May 7th

Today was cleaning day. After lunch We did some laundry and George cleaned his sink in the bathroom and even was cleaning his toilet. When he gets into cleaning, he really gets into it. He dusted his furniture too. I left to go do something in the other room and when I came back he was asleep on his bed. Cleaning is enough to wear anyone out huh? I woke him up long enough to tell him bye.

May 5th

We drove through Wheeler Farm on the way to lunch. We saw kids getting pony rides, cute ;) Sharon had left a coupon for Red Lobster. We went there for lunch, he said he didn’t remember going. Maybe we went to a different one than he had been before? He was asking me if I knew Sharon ;) We went to the podiatrist afterwards and when we were walking out the door he said “Too much.” When we came home we picked some flowers to put in the house. He re-arranged his flowers. Weight today was 91 lbs and his BP was in the range of 123/63

Friday April 30th and Monday May 3rd, Sharon was in town and got to spend time with her Dad :)
