It’s the last day of June already! George was still in bed when I came over. I cleaned up while I waited for him to get dressed. He wanted to go to lunch at Burger King. I asked him what he wanted to do after lunch and he wanted to drive up to the mountains again today. We drove up to Silver Lake and took a little walk on the boardwalk. I wish the lake was still there, it’s all dried up :( there were some people heading out to fish at the very end of the lake though. George said he has never been there before. It was really pretty up there today. His weight today was 98 lbs. and BP was 140/72
There are about 4-5 more pictures of today on photobucket.

This picture finally downloaded.
I was sitting on the couch with George and he was looking up at the mountains and said that he wanted to go to the top. Soo, when he was ready, we went and got some KFC then went up and had lunch in the canyons :) (Not quite the top though) ;) He kept hitting the ants with his cane. He was saying that in 30 years the mountain would fall down. (It looked like it was at a slant towards where we were).
(I couldn't download the pic of him, I tried a few times, there are two more of the mountains on photobucket).

Today when I came over, the neighbor told me that the girls were selling lemonade. George got ready then we walked over and got a cookie and lemonade. Bailey walked over with us to help carry his cookie. (She's the 8 yr. old. They moved here from Colorado). We went to lunch at Crazy Jim’s afterwards (He picked it) ;) He ate really well! We went to the craft store afterwards. We used his walker and it took a really long time! He has the hardest time with it.
His weight was 100lbs. and BP was 130/78.
(I won’t be able to come over on Friday but I’ll be there on Thursday).

I couldn’t make it over last Friday. On Tuesday when I came over it was about 1ish…George was still asleep! He said he was dreaming about the moon and that he was confused about day and night. When he was dressed we had lunch and then I showed him the website of Sharon’s wedding and printed out some of the pages for him to see, then we went for a walk. The neighborhood girls were outside and another neighbor stopped and said hi. We watered the plants and he vacuumed. His weight was 99lbs. and BP was 138/72.
There are two more pictures on photobucket.

This week I have been helping Wil out and have only been able to come over for a few hours. I came over on Monday just to check that George had something to eat, we visited for a little bit too. Wednesday, it was starting to rain but stopped when I came over, but…when we were driving to lunch, it started to pour. We ended up getting drive through and bringing it home. Of course when he was eating his lunch the rain stopped. Crazy weather!
I took his weight and BP on Wednesday and his weight was 100 lbs. and his BP was 123/63.

(The girl from Out Of The Box called me the other day (I can't remember her name) and said that they have a senior activity at Evergreen park on Saturday, I hope George can make it.)

We had kind of a slow start today. It was raining when I came over. We just talked for a bit until the rain let up. Two of the neighborhood girls came and brought George his mail after the mailman came. They are soo cute ;) We went to lunch at Kowloon CafĂ© then went to the store to cash his check. He was super slow today. I’m glad to see him exercising his legs once and awhile. (Sometimes I’ll see him do squats or just bending his legs while he holds onto the ledge in the living room).

Today was cleaning day. George was pretty tired today, and quieter than usual. We did do the laundry though and watered the plants and just cleaned a little. We had lunch outside; it was a nice but cooler day today. George kept telling me about a picture that he saw of me and Wil in Dennis’ room. He kept trying to find it.
His weight was 99 lbs. and BP was 120/82
