Oh my gosh! Today was such a nice day! The weather was perfect and the trees… well the trees, just beautiful! George had a podiatrist appt. today, after the appointment we went to Sugarhouse Park to watch the ducks and just to enjoy the weather. We had lunch out on the patio before we left. His weight with shoes, without shoes whatever it’s always the same, it was 100 lbs. BP was 139/63 (Or somewhere around that range but I’m sure that’s pretty close). Hopefully Friday will be just as nice!

Today George wanted to go to the Jasmine for lunch, (His 'stand by' he said). The waitress had ‘his’ table ready for him. I wanted to take him shopping for shoes afterwards because he was telling me a couple weeks ago that his shoes were heavy, he was pretty adamant about not wanting to get new ones. Soo we drove over to Wheeler Farm (He likes that place) and watched the animals, he didn’t want to get out of the car though, I thought if I did he would follow, but he didn't. He talked about the house that is there and how it is like the one in Seattle with the 10 foot ceilings in every room. We watched the cows and horses for a little while, the cows are as big as the horses! It's a relaxing place.

We stayed in today (Wed) and painted faces on pumpkins. George kept saying “Then we will cut it out?” I kept telling him we were just going to paint them. He did a good job but he wasn’t to into it when he found out we weren’t cutting them (I think). His weight was the same at 100 lbs. and his BP was 128/60’s

Today we tried Wheeler farm again. We stopped at Teri Yaki and picked up some lunch to eat over there. It was a really nice day; we had to leave early though (Bathroom). He was having a hard time walking again today, later on he mentioned that he walked better without his shoes. Maybe he needs shoes that aren’t so heavy? When we were at Wheeler farm there was a girl having wedding pictures taken in her dress and he said “Where the hell is her husband?!” It was funny, He also saw some people that he knew. We had a good but shorter time there again today. We did some PT when we got home too. He did really well!

I came over today instead of Wednesday, I will be back on Friday. We went to lunch at Sweet Tomatoes (He said he wasn't too hungry but he ate everything on his plate :) ). Then we went to get his hair cut, it was busy there today, normally he is the only one there. I mentioned that we could probably go to Wheeler Farm again on Friday, it is supposed to be good weather, that way we can spend more time there. It was a nice but cool day today. Weight was 102 and BP was 145/66

I forgot to add in that today when I asked George what he wanted to do, he said let's take a drive up north and when I asked him where, he said Wendover. I told him I didn't have the time to go up there and that it takes a long time...He said "It only takes a half hour".

It was a cold day today. We watched the rest of Animal Planet then went to lunch at Belgium Waffle. We weren’t sure what to do today, we ended up at Wheeler Farm, and George said he had never been there before, just drove by. He mentioned that the house there is like the one on Bainbridge Island. He said “All the rooms had 10 foot ceilings”. We walked around a bit and saw some pumpkins; he said “Dennis needs to bring his younger boy here”. It was too cold to walk around anymore but we did watch the horses for a little while.

Last Friday I didn’t come over because I had a test I needed to study for. Today though after George had lunch, we went to cash his check then went to look at a house that has all kinds of cool decorations outside for Halloween (He liked the "Big face") then we went up to the canyons to see the leaves before it snows this weekend. George is going out to an early dinner with his brother. Weight was 100 lbs. and BP was 115/61

What a nice day! George needed a lot of coaxing to get going today, he had just gotten up when I got there and wanted to read the paper, I let him read part of the paper while I did some laundry. I packed up a few things for lunch and we went up to the mountains to eat, then we drove up the mountains afterwards to see the pretty leaves! I wish this weather would stay around longer (The colors too, it was so beautiful!) We had a praying mantis visit us at our table and watched it for awhile, George was really into the ants to for some reason. His weight today was 101 lbs. and his BP was 137/64-68
