Wow what a day! When I came over George was reading the paper, I asked him if there was anything good in the paper toady (He said with a grin) “I’m not in there.” He wanted to go to the Chinese Gourmet for lunch; I talked him into another buffet place, Crazy Jim’s. We went to the planetarium today, after lunch and missed the first half of the show, it was really cool though, it was about planets, I think George liked it (We’ ll have go see the whole show next time). His weight was 101 lbs. (On Neptune it would be about 118 lbs.) His BP was ……I don’t remember but have it written down at his place.

Today (Friday) we played catch up. I had a test to study for on Friday so I didn’t come over on Wednesday. George wanted to go to Chinese Gourmet for lunch. He’s always talking about all the different tastes and the different things you can choose. I think we will be regulars there ;) We went and cashed his check first at the bank. I got his weight today at 100 lbs. (With knee pads) and his BP was ….I think it was something like 117/60. His new furniture looks good too! I know he likes it!

Nice day today! It was in the upper 70’s. George wanted to go to the liquor store, so we went there, we then went to lunch at Chinese Gourmet (It’s his favorite place) “You can have whatever you want there”. One of the hostesses there knows him by name. He LOVE’S looking at people while there. His fortune said something like “Pick a new _____? Or Hobby” He told me I was his hobby. Dennis called us on the way home and we stopped at RC Willey and he got a new living room furniture set! He will have it tonight :) (I hope the planetarium has new shows soon).

It was cold and yucky today, it finally rained. When I came over George said something like “You were out on the town last night” I wasn’t feeling too good because of allergies and had a headache, he sure is observant. We just had lunch at home then went for a drive to the Draper area; he seems to like it there. He said “Let’s go for a joy ride”. I got this picture of him today, he was downstairs when we got home (I guess looking for someone?) I thought it was great he did this on his own. Weight today was 101 and BP was 117/59.

George had a hard time getting started today, I had to wake him up (He had just fallen asleep; Dennis was there and told me). He couldn’t decide on what he wanted to do today, Dennis had already given him something to eat. I got the cards out for him and chose a few things we haven’t done yet, he picked Red Butte Gardens. After some prompting, we were on our way. They had lots of flowers still in bloom, and plants that he really liked. Next time we will have to use his Jazzy, too many hills. We picked up a hamburger on the way home. He said it was a “Quick trip” it was 3 ½ hours! It was nice though, there was a hibiscus that he really liked. He was surprised that he had never been there before.

Wow its September already! Yesterday (Wed.) is what I called clean up day. We did laundry, cleaned up George’s room checked on the plants and had a leisurely lunch outside. We did go for a walk up the street. His weight today (With knee pads) was 104 and his BP was 138/60’s. It was a nice day and we had lunch outside on the deck. It will be snowing before we know it.
